Video: RFK Jr. drops out of 2024 race, endorses Trump

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suspended his candidacy for president on Friday, throwing his support behind former President Donald Trump after slamming the Democrat Party and Democrat nominee Vice President Kamala Harris.

This is breaking news that will be updated as more information becomes available. Keep reading below.

“In an honest system, I believe that I would have won the election. In a system with a fairly scheduled debate, with fair primaries, and with a truly independent media untainted by government propaganda; in a system of nonpartisan courts and election boards, everything would be different,” Kennedy said during a speech announcing his decision to back Trump.

“The DNC [Democrats] dragged us into court, state after state, attempting to erase their work and to subvert the will of the voters who signed those petitions,” Kennedy added. “It deployed DNC aligned judges throw me and other candidates off the ballot and to throw President Trump in jail.”

Kennedy also targeted Harris, highlighting her refusal to take interviews just 10 weeks before election day.

“I do interviews everyday. Everyone who asks gets to interview me. Sometimes I do 10 a day. President Trump also does many interviews. How could the Democrat Party choose a candidate who refuses to do an interview? How did the Democratic Party choose a candidate that has never done interview or debate during the entire election cycle? We know the answers. They did it by weaponizing the government agencies. They did it by abandoning democracy. They did it by suing the opposition and by disenfranchising American voters,” Kennedy said.
