Trump Blasts Jessica Tarlov of FOX’s “The Five” as ‘Grating And Unendurable’

Even though Fox News consistently has much higher ratings than other networks, at least one Fox host appears to have neglected to do her research on recent events.

Jessica Tarlov, a co-host of the popular Fox News program “The Five,” contributes a more liberal viewpoint to the show’s discussion panel. However, she has recently come under fire for not having her facts straight from both her co-host Jeanine Pirro and former President Trump.

The 38-year-old Tarlov became a contributor to Fox News in 2017 and hosts “The Five” on a recurring basis. In all of the programming on FNC and FOX Business Network, she provides political insight. She serves as the Bustle Digital Group’s vice president of research and consumer insight. Tarlov has a Ph.D. in government from the London School of Economics and Political Science in addition to two master’s degrees in political science and public policy. Her background suggests that she can talk with authority.

The criticism came from a co-host and former president when Tarlov and Jeanine Pirro got into an argument over the discovery of sensitive information at President Joe Biden’s Delaware house and Donald Trump’s Florida property.

Newsweek noted:

One of the major differences between the two investigations, according to Tarlov, is that Trump took a chance on top-secret materials getting out since he often hosts events and parties at his Florida estate. “Mar-a-Lago is a venue where people enjoy themselves. There are parties there every single night, which raised questions about how things were being maintained, according to Tarlov. “I recognize that Hunter Biden is a major partier, but that doesn’t make it the same thing. All the while, President Trump is entertaining a ton of foreigners while wearing a tux.

Evidently, Tarlov is ignorant that the room at Mar-a-Lago where the documents were kept is a carefully chosen location that has always been locked and that, after being examined by the FBI, has additional locks fitted with their approval. She must also be ignorant of the long-standing Mar-a-Lago security officers and cameras.

She said Hunter Biden was a “party animal” and compared him to state functions at a previous president’s house, which beyond description.

Newsweek goes on:

Pirro then inquired as to Tarlov’s knowledge of Mar-a-Lago. Pirro said, “So then don’t presume what you don’t know,” to Tarlov’s claim that she hadn’t because she was “not invited.” Tarlov was then instructed by Pirro to “don’t point your finger” while the presenter persisted in making her argument.

According to Newsweek, Donald Trump responded to Tarlov’s accusations by commenting about Tarlov’s ignorance of the circumstances. A few hours after she criticized the former president on television, Trump charged her of presenting “knowingly false” material. While giving a review of the channel’s daily weekday broadcast on Truth Social, Trump called Tarlov, a co-host of Fox News’ The Five, out for having a “grating and unendurable” voice.

The criticism to Tarlov’s remarks came after she incorrectly stated that the former president is “personally responsible for 30%” of the current national debt while criticizing Trump on Thursday’s episode of The Five for retaining sensitive papers at his Mar-a-Lago estate. Depending on how and when you estimate the entire debt, the actual percentage is in the low to mid 20 percent range, according to Newsweek.

It appears like Tarlov made her remarks off the top of her head.

Trump, a straight shooter, posted:

With the exception of the outrageous Jessica Tarlov, who is awful, I truly like The Five on Fox News, especially the hosts, Trump stated. “Her facts are willfully false, her nervous delivery is awful, and, pardon me, her VOICE is annoying and intolerable. Juan Williams was awful, but she was worse. I am aware that the show is successful, but not because of Jessica. It’s vital to expose fake news and fake people, therefore I published this “REVIEW” even if I find her difficult to consume in big quantities.

Newsweek mentioned an earlier conversation Tarlov had:

Tarlov claimed that part of the attractiveness of her co-hosts’ interruptions and disputes on The Five in a September 2022 interview with the Los Angeles Times. The show’s goal, according to Tarlov, is to resemble real life. “And all facets of your personality are thrown into it when you speak to others in your life, whether they be relatives or friends, especially those who hold opposing viewpoints. I think it’s funny,” she remarked. I enjoy the back-and-forth as long as I can make sure that I am not truly confused and cannot complete my argument.

Fox News has been asked for comment, according to Newsweek.

In a post, Trump said, “FoxFakeNews is awful! Even if it is untrue, they use everything negative to support “Trump.” They won’t display the significant surveys that show me easily defeating the useless Joe Biden and leading all Republicans.
