President Trump tore into a former staffer in a social media post on Saturday after she critiqued the way he conducted himself in the CNN town hall by calling her a “sleazebag” and a “loser.”
Alyssa Farah Griffin, who used to love working for Trump but since then has gone to work on the leftist show “The View,” which means she was probably always a RINO.
“Backbencher in the Trump Administration, Alyssa Farah, like so many other sleazebags, had only glowing reviews of the Trump Administration until long after she left,” Trump posted on his social media platform. ” A loser then, and a loser now!”

Trump ripped into Farah Griffin, now co-host of “The View” and currently a CNN political contributor, who claimed during a broadcast that Trump had emerged as “radioactive for independents and moderates” and had probably lost a sizable number of supporters as a result of CNN’s contentious town hall. Farah Griffin made the remark in support of the network in response to criticism from CNN’s left-leaning audience and staff members over its choice to organize the event with the former president.
Farah Griffin characterized Trump’s performance as “America got to see who he is last night: a ranting, raving lunatic who sided with Vladimir Putin.”
“Farah Griffin is one of a legion of Republican critics of Trump with lofty media perches. She held a number of high-level positions in the Trump administration, including Vice President Mike Pence’s press secretary, Pentagon press secretary and White House communications director. In the latter position in 2020, she was reportedly key to shaping messaging around Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. She resigned in December 2020, expressing pride in her time in the administration in her resignation letter, according to Fox News.
Farah Griffin joined CNN as a commentator in 2021, assuming a very different tone with respect to her former boss. In August 2022, she said, “As somebody who regrettably worked for Donald Trump, I do not want to see that man ever be president again.” She has said some family members, including her father, skipped her wedding over her stance against Trump.
Trump continued to lay into Farah Griffin in a separate Truth Social post over the weekend, claiming that CNN and “The View” were facing pressure to fire her for criticizing him. Trump did not provide any evidence to substantiate the claim.
“Word is that they are revolting at the ‘View’ and CNN, and want Farrah OUT! Much more to come,” Trump said while speaking highly of the “lovely” CNN town hall.
“She tried to delete her words, but we got them ALL. I don’t see how she lasts because this ‘stuff’ shows what a phony she is,” Trump added, possibly alluding to the earlier clip he released of Griffin praising him.
Trump continued, “They won’t be able to take the Radical Left Heat, just as CNN wants to fire the ‘boss’ because of the absolutely lovely Town Hall they just put on,” in reference to the criticism CNN had received regarding the event.
“One of their biggest ratings nights in years, & they are begging for mercy. CNN, let’s do another one?” He posted.
Trump later posted “So cool to watch her twist!” with another video of her praising his work.
Another former Trump official made news last week, also.
“It has been alleged that former Vice President Mike Pence stole sentences verbatim from the speech of his former running mate.”
Pence delivered the contentious speech in New Hampshire last week. It is widely believed that he is considering a run for the candidacy of the Republican Party for president in 2024. According to the report that was published by Politico, the transcript had an eerie similarity to a speech that Donald Trump gave almost four years ago.
Pence was scheduled to make the following statements when he spoke at the Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy, as stated in the prepared comments that he was going to deliver there:
“If we want our families and communities to prosper, America must be the best place on earth to work, invest, innovate, build, master a trade, or start a business. We want companies to move to America, stay in America, and hire American workers,” Politico reported.
However, as described by the outlet, this is practically word-for-word copied from a speech previously given by Trump:
“The two-sentence passage is almost identical to words Trump uttered in a speech to the New York Economic Club on Nov. 12, 2019, according to an archived transcript of his remarks from the White House:
‘If we want our families and communities to prosper, America must be the best place on earth to work, invest, innovate, build, pursue a career, hone a craft, or start a business. We want companies to move to America, stay in America, and hire American workers,’” Politico reported.
Politico noticed that there were some alterations made to the speech following that particular moment.
“It is not clear if Pence delivered the remarks as prepared, as the event was not live-streamed. Pence’s and Trump’s speeches did diverge after that passage. ‘We want every American to be able to afford their American dreams,’ Pence said in his prepared remarks ‘But for millions of Americans today, the American Dream is slipping further and further out of reach with each passing day.’
