A rousing and encouraging message of hope for the years to come was released by President Trump just in time for the Memorial Day weekend.
“By Memorial Day 2025, our country will be roaring back,” he said in a video released Friday. “We’ll be well on our way to greatness like our country has never seen before!”

The 45th President of the United States discussed the effects of inflation on Americans getting together with friends and family over the weekend in the same video.
“Everything is more expensive, a lot more expensive, actually, because of Joe Biden’s reckless policies…” he claimed. “This Memorial Day, gas prices are up 48 percent since Joe took office…food prices are up 18 percent, airline prices are up 48 percent, taxes are higher than ever…”
However, Trump promised, “Help is on the way.”
“I will unleash energy independence and we will bring the price of gasoline down immediately,” he continued.
Trump made a pledge that, if elected, he would lead the United States back to its former prominence by the year 2025.
America could be much closer to realizing this promise from Trump for Memorial Day 2025 as he’s recently seen a surge in favorability or DeSantis, most notably in a key primary state, following the Florida governor’s presidential run announcement.
This week, Ron DeSantis officially announced his bid for the presidency in 2024 during a Twitter Spaces online event. However, it is clear that he faces an uphill battle to defeat Donald Trump, who is now leading the GOP polls.
In the crucial primary state of South Carolina, the former president has a commanding 25-point lead, according to a poll released on Friday.
“Scheduled to be held Feb. 24, following the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary, South Carolina is widely considered to be an important state toward securing the GOP’s nomination,” Newsmax reported.
According to a new poll by National Research Inc. for American Greatness, Trump has a commanding lead with 43% of probable Republican voters in the Palmetto State. DeSantis came in second with 18 percent, followed by Tim Scott, a senator from South Carolina, with 12 percent, and Nikki Haley, a former governor of that state, with 10 percent.
After Trump did so in November, Haley was the first to announce her candidacy for president. Prior to DeSantis’ official launch, Scott announced his candidacy earlier in the week.
Newsmax added:
A total of 13% said they were undecided or had other preferences, including former Vice President Mike Pence (1%), businessman Vivek Ramaswamy (1%), New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (1%), and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (1%).
Trump was way ahead of DeSantis when likely GOP voters were asked:
- Which candidate is the best to improve our economy (60% to 11%)
- Which is seen as a stronger voice against far-left progressives (42% to 20%)
- Which is more compassionate to your needs (36% to 19%).
After his campaign debut, DeSantis hit the media circuit, making an appearance on Newsmax TV’s “Eric Bolling The Balance,” where he expressed his admiration for Trump’s prior achievements while serving as president.
“Most of our voters appreciate a lot of the things that President Trump did,” DeSantis said. “I do. He’s been attacking me a lot, but I still give him credit for the things that he did well, especially with the economy in the first three years.”
