Former President Donald Trump has been travelling the country leading and speaking at rallies in these days coming up on the mid=term elections.
Without blatantly stating his own intentions toward running for office, Trump is making it clear who he endorses in both the mid-terms and the major elections to come.
A rally in Anchorage, Alaska Saturday night was the setting for Former President Donald Trump and other Republicans to address issues and dead weight in U.S, politics.
Alaska’s primary election will be held on August 16, 2022, so gearing up for that primary was the focus of the rally.
Former President Donald Trump praised some elected officials and rebuked a number of RINOs and Democrats in his speech.
The former president initially took to the Alaska Airlines Center stage with his classic “God Bless the USA” ringing out, Fox News reported.
“I want to thank you and I want to say a big hello Anchorage, hello,” Trump started his remarks, before noting how beautiful the state was. “It is a very beautiful state of Alaska.”
Trump continued with a jab at incumbent Republican U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski.
“It’s very beautiful and I have seen some things you do not see in normal places and this is not a normal place with a lousy senator like Murkowski,” the former president said, adding: “But we’re going to do something about that.”
“In four months… you are going to fire your RINO [Republican In Name Only] Senator Murkowski,” Trump added. “She is the worst.”
Murkowski has represented Alaska in the U.S. Senate since she was appointed in 2002.
The comment drew boos from the audience, many of whom later cheered when Trump named Senate Candidate Kelly Tshibaka, who is looking to unseat Murkowski. Trump called Tshibaka a “conservative warrior,” Fox News continued.
Trump also praised the “legendary” and “incredible” Sarah Palin, Alaska’s former governor who is seeking the state’s lone seat in the House of Representatives, as well as noting Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s demise.
“I like you the best and we’re going to end crazy Nancy Pelosi’s political career once and for all,” he added.
Trump then immediately turned his attention to President Biden, calling him the “worst,” Fox News wrote.
“You could take the five worst presidents in American history and put them all together and mix them all up and they would not have done the incredible damage that Joe Biden has done to our country in less than two short years,” he said.
The contrast between the Trump administration’s amazing success and Joe Biden’s breathtaking failure could not be more stark (sic),” Trump added.
The former president then invited Tshibaka and Palin, both who he endorses, on stage and they both briefly spoke, Fox continued.
Trump turned his remarks to another public figure who is a businessman, rather than and elected official and took the opportunity to point out an inconsistancy.
In the past, Donald Trump once called Elon Musk “one of our great geniuses,” comparing him to inventor Thomas Edison.
But Elon Musk, not a politician, hasn’t been keeping track of his own statements regarding politics and his vote.
Trump had some words about Musk and his recent attempt to acquire the social media giant Twitter.
Trump commented on reports that Musk would no longer be buying Twitter, after previously pledging to reverse Trump’s ban from the social media platform once he owned it, Newsweek reported.
“He’s not going to be buying it,” Trump said. “Although he might later. Who the hell knows what’s going to happen? He’s got a pretty rotten contract.”
“Elon. Elon. Elon. He’s not going to buy Twitter,” Trump said after encouraging those in attendance to use a competing social media platform, Truth Social, Fox News wrote.
“And where did you hear that before? From me,” he added.
“He’s got himself a mess, I’ve looked at his contract,” Trump continued. “Ya know, Elon says he’s never voted Republican, but I didn’t know that because he told me that he voted for me so he’s another bull—t artist,”
Trump reminisced that Elon had told the former president that he had voted for him in the 2016 presidential election, which Trump won.
Now it seems Elon has forgotten that, and has made recent statements that contradict his former words.
Last month, Musk tweeted that his vote for Mayra Flores, who won a Texas special election, was the “first time I ever voted Republican,” Newsweek wrote.
And in remarks during a tech summit in May, Musk said he has voted “overwhelmingly for Democrats” in the past and “might never have voted for a Republican.”
Trump recalled all those comments during his rally on Saturday, and drew his conclusion.
“You know, he said the other day ‘Oh, I’ve never voted for a Republican,’” Trump said. “I said, ‘I didn’t know that.’ He told me he voted for me. So he’s another bulls**t artist.”
