For the last two years the headlines on websites and newspapers alike have been relentlessly attacking President Trump. More often than not, the attacks are baseless, exaggerations and in in many cases simply made up. When Trump calls attention to what he calls, “Fake News”, the media then accuses him of being combative and even going as far as saying that he’s against a free press. Most of America has gotten use to the cycle of Trump hate headlines, Trump responding on Twitter, then the press saying that Trump started it all.
But after the Democrats making inroads in the house, one would think that they would give it a rest for at least a day or two to bask in the glory of their wins. But no, a soft spoken President Trump was assaulted and insulted by the Washington press corps during his press conference the day after the election. Some would say in an even more hateful way than usual.
Rush Limbaugh attributed their behavior to anger. The Democrats in the press (that’s 99% of them) apparently had visions of a blue titlewave, taking back both the senate and the house. What by most accounts was an expected election result only showed them that they were unable to persuade most of the country that Trump horrible enough that an emergency wave of blue was necessary to save us from his impending dictatorship. The two party, divided government that the founders established prevailed.
There will be no pause in Trump hate by the press. If anything, they have tasted blood. And they want more. They always want more. The relentless attempts of the left to discredit and remove the President of The United States will continue to be assisted by the mainstream media. And about half of America follow their lead. Don’t expect them to change now. The 2020 presidential election is right around the corner.
