Taliban forces in Afghanistan recently attacked a security firm in the nation’s capital, leaving at least 10 people dead and 19 others wounded.

According to police in Kabul Wednesday, the attack began with a suicide bomber detonating his explosives. Taliban fighters then shot at security forces in the building.

This comes as the latest act of terrorism from the insurgents in a series of frequent assaults on defense and government targets.

“This is a foreign forces base and I think that was their target,” explained a local. “Five people from my factory got wounded as a result, three seriously wounded and two are partially wounded.”

Although American troops concluded their mission in Afghanistan four years ago, there are still 15,000 forces remaining to aid the ongoing battle against the Taliban.
