Florida Governor Ron DeSantis condemned the FBI during a rally on Sunday, for its raid of former President Trumps Mar-a-Lago home. DeSantis argued that the FBI enforces laws based on who they like and who they don’t like.
The FBI executed a search warrant at 45th President Donald Trump’s estate at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. In a lengthy Truth Social statement Monday, Trump said that the FBI was conducting a search of his home and that agents had broken open a safe. He said that after cooperating with the relevant government agencies, the unannounced raid on his home was neither necessary nor appropriate.
Former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, once again, called for the abolition of the department she once headed. When she spoke to Breitbart on Monday, she said that anybody who is serious about reducing the size of the federal government should get on board with cutting the Education Department. DeVos suggested this idea must be a central tenet of the Republican party platform.
