“Shahs of Sunset” star Mike Shouhed faces 13 criminal charges including domestic violence stemming from a previous arrest, according to a Tuesday report.
Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer charged Shouhed with battery and unlawfully attempting to dissuade a witness from making a report, as well as criminal storage of a loaded firearm and possession of an assault weapon, according to Page Six. The charges are related to Shouhed’s March 27 arrest for “intimate partner violence with injury,” the outlet reported.

Legal documents revealed that the victim was a 31-year-old female, although it currently remains unclear if that female is Shouhed’s fiancée, Paulina Ben-Cohen, who turned 32 in June, Page Six reported.
Bravo canceled “Shahs of Sunset” roughly one week after Shouhed’s arrest. The show had been on-air for nine seasons. Fans speculated that the cancelation of the program stemmed from Shouhed’s arrest, but sources claimed the show simply became “too expensive to make,” Page Six reported. Ben-Cohen’s involvement in this situation remains unclear, but she did reach out to the public through a statement that was issued by her attorney, Josh Ritter in April.
“We are working with the authorities to seek a just and fair outcome to this sad situation,” Ritter said in a statement, according to Page Six.
