Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson and former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr may have been engaged in never before disclosed and potentially secret communications, according to a report.
Simpson and Ohr met at a coffee shop in December of 2016 and exchanged a memory stick, though the contents of that memory stick are currently unknown, according to Hill reporter John Solomon.
Details of the meeting were revealed in Ohr’s handwritten notes.
Among those notes was a statement suggesting Simpson asked Christopher Steele, who was behind the Steele dossier, to speak with a reporter from the liberal news outlet Mother Jones.
Ohr worked directly under Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who’s now facing threat of impeachment from several House lawmakers.
