Republican Representative Jim Jordan is calling on Congress to provide additional funding for President Trump’s highly promised border wall.
In a tweet Tuesday, the Ohio lawmaker attacked Democrats for calling for the abolishment of ICE and suggested the party was out of touch with voters.
He then called on House Republicans to add wall funding to the appropriations bill this week and send it to the Senate for consideration.

Jordan also called for a month-long debate to be held on the issue, adding, Republicans have a responsiblity to do what the American people voted for in 2016
Congress has until the end of this month to pass a final spending bill to avoid a government shutdown.
