President Trump said the FBI and Department of Justice should be embarrassed by the corrupt actions of former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
In a tweet Wednesday, the president said the newly released texts between Strzok and Page are a disaster to the reputation of the bureau and Department of Justice.
He added, the incident should have never happened.
More text messages between former FBI employees Peter Strzok and Lisa Page are a disaster and embarrassment to the FBI & DOJ. This should never have happened but we are learning more and more by the hour. “Others were leaking like mad” in order to get the President! ……..

The president went on to quote political analyst Gregg Jarrett, who said “others were leaking like mad” to get the president. Jarrett was quoted again in the text tweet:

This comes after damaging new text messages appear to show Strzok and Page may have been behind media leaks to the press regarding the Russia investigation.
