President Trump: Russia probe is con job, Dems are pushing investigation without proof

President Trump recently slammed special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, saying — once again — there was no collusion during his 2016 presidential campaign.

At a press conference Wednesday, the president compared the allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Mueller probe. He said democrats are trying to push both despite a lack of evidence.

President Trump also brought up how multiple Democrat lawmakers have been caught trying to communicate with Russians to bring his administration down.

“Does anybody relieve that? It’s a con job and I’ve watched these guys, little Adam Schiff and all of the guys, he takes a call from a Russian who turned out to be a faker — he was a comedian or something,” the president explained.

In a bid to make progress in the nearly two-year case, the President Trump will be meeting with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein as some analysts predict the Department of Justice official could be fired.
