Pic: Trump reveals letter from Alec Baldwin, slams actor as ‘psycho’

On Thursday, former-President Donald Trump slammed actor Alec Baldwin as a “psycho” and revealed a letter he said he received from Baldwin 25 years ago.

“Dear Donald, For a tough guy in a tough business, you are a sweet and generous man. I could never thank you sufficiently for the use of the incredible penthouse you ‘comped’ us. You’re a gentleman. Best, Alec,” the letter stated.

Trump shared the letter, as well as an plug for his new book, on his social media platform Truth Social.

“Alec Baldwin used to beg to play my life in a movie. With time, I believe Alec became a psycho, a very sick puppy. Check out the letter Alec wrote to me, many years ago. My new book, LETTERS TO TRUMP, comes out next week! An incredible collection of correspondence. Get your copy today: 45books.com/,” Trump posted.

Trump shared the letter on the same day criminal charges against actor Alec Baldwin for the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins were dropped, according to Baldwin’s lawyers.

Attorneys Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro told Fox News Digital in a statement, “We are pleased with the decision to dismiss the case against Alec Baldwin and encourage a proper investigation into the facts and circumstances of this tragic incident.”

While rehearsing a scene on the set of the movie “Rust” in New Mexico in 2021, Baldwin fired an old-fashioned revolver, killing then-42-year-old Hutchins and wounding the western film’s director.

The 64-year-old actor later claimed he cocked the gun’s hammer, but didn’t pull the trigger. An FBI report concluded that the gun couldn’t possibly have fired without a trigger pull.

Prosecutors criminally charged Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter earlier this year. At the time, Nikas said the decision to charge his client was “a terrible miscarriage of justice.”
