Elections for 2022 are being set up as a battle between ‘America First’ candidates and longtime establishment proponents of the ‘Uni-Party” with Republicans In Name Only- RINOS- running in primaries in strategic places against those more Populist ‘MAGA-style’ Republicans.

One RINO is fighting for his political life- Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and it is embarrassing to watch him grasping to keep ahold of the power he has misused for so long.  McConnell is supporting one of the ten high-profile House members who sided with the radical left and voted to impeach their own Republican President in 2020, for highly partisan reasons.

McConnell’s proxy battle against Donald Trump moved forward again this week after a media report exposed that he gave money to a House candidate who voted to impeach Trump.

Now we can confirm that Mitch McConnell is a broken down RINO, along with George Bush they both donated to Liz Cheney’s re-election, Bush donated the legal max amount to Cheney! Looks like McConnell thinks that Cheney may lose her seat to Harriet Hageman,” one political watcher wrote in response to the news on Twitter.

According to Axios, the Kentucky Republican donated to the reelection campaign of Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, who is currently underwater against Trump-backed GOP primary challenger and attorney Harriet Hageman.

Breitbart added a stinger to the announcement: “Cheney, who is no longer recognized as a Republican by the Wyoming GOP, has received a campaign contribution from the Senate GOP leader, McConnell told Axios. When asked if he will hold a fundraiser or other campaign event with Cheney, McConnell redirected the conversation back to his lane of Senate business.”

Ironically the Republican leader of the House, Kevin McCarthy has endorsed America First candidate Hageman.

President Donald J. Trump has been instrumental in organizing opposition against the RINO faction of the GOP, encouraging his supporters on which candidates to support in their local races, and those endorsements are not always popular with the GOP or with powerful lawmakers like long time RINO,  US Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

McConnell has been under fire for about as long as he has been in DC for being a soft touch against the avalanche of woke leftism that has permeated Washington DC, but he always attempted to keep up a slight appearance that he was “conservative”, until this move with embattled RINO, Cheney.

“Cheney is badly trailing Hageman in polling. In January, for instance, Hageman easily bested the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney in a straw poll which was conducted by the Wyoming Republican State Central Committee, garnering 59 votes. Cheney finished an extremely distant second with just a half-dozen votes,” Conservative Brief reported.

Liz Cheney is the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, who also pretended to be a Conservative to get support for his political ambitions, and then betrayed his supporters by being involved with backroom deals that the American people would not have willingly supported.

So she comes from a family of RINOS, which might be exactly the nepotism and Cronyism that the American people are so sick of- and which makes up the foundation of the MAGA- America First movement.

Liz Cheney positioned herself as a pt bull attacker against  Trump’s side for more than a year, having criticized him while in office and then blaming him for inciting the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol Building.

She further inflamed tensions with Trump when she voted with 10 other House Republicans to impeach him and then agree to co-chair the committee assembled by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to investigate the origins of the riot.

Liz Cheney then joined the Democrat-dominated panel along with another RINO, Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, who also ran as a Conservative and then got to DC and went as far to the left as he could get.

Kinzinger also used his position to attack Trump, even going as far as to cry in public over his hurt feelings, after he voted to impeach Trump.

Kinzinger, unlike Cheney, will not seek re-election. He is done.

Breitbart News reported on more details:

McCarthy’s support of Hageman came with a massive fundraiser with powerful MAGA heavy hitters. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Jim Banks (R-IN), Elise Stefanik (R-NY), and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R), among others, co-hosted the fundraising event. “Needless to say, the number of sitting House Republicans who are lining up against Cheney is quite stunning,”  Punchbowl News noted.

Hageman has also earned the endorsement of Trump and Republican megadonor Peter Thiel, who reportedly dubbed Cheney the “ringleader” of the “treasonous ten” in reference to those Republicans who attempted to impeach Trump.

Cheney’s absence from Wyoming voters lines up with what Hageman has told Breitbart News. “Liz Cheney has lost Wyoming. Liz Cheney doesn’t live in Wyoming. She doesn’t represent us,” Hageman said. “She doesn’t represent our values.”
