Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will meet with his North Korean counterpart sometime next week.

Pompeo is expected to meet with North Korea’s minister of foreign affairs in Washington in the next coming days, according to a South Korean diplomatic source.

They are reportedly planning to arrange a second summit between President Trump and leader Kim Jong Un, which National Security Adviser John Bolton speculated could happen as soon as January.

This comes as the Trump administration continues to place pressure on North Korea to completely denuclearize.
