Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke hits back at those criticizing his capacity within the Trump Administration.
Zinke spoke out following the President’s announcement of his departure Saturday and blamed the agency’s lack of direction on political attacks.
In a tweet, Zinke said after 30-years of public service he couldn’t justify reportedly spending “thousands of dollars” to defend himself from what he calls “false allegations.”
President Trump will appoint the outgoing secretary’s replacement within the coming days — who will also need to be confirmed by the Senate.
