State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert is reportedly under consideration to replace Nikki Haley as United Nations ambassador.

This comes after several other names were floated including U.S. ambassador to France Jamie McCourt.
Nauert was named State Department spokesperson last year.
She also served as undersecretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs following Steve Golstein’s dismissal.
This comes after Haley announced she will leave her post by the end of the year.
