Franklin Graham Questions Whether Trump Would Be Healthy Enough To Run in 2024

Rev. Franklin Graham says the amount of energy former President Donald Trump has is “amazing,” but he is not sure that energy will be the same four years from now.

During an interview with “Axios on HBO,” Graham said he believes it would be hard for Trump to run for president again because of his age and his health.

“I think for him, everything will depend on his health at that time. If he still has energy and strength like he does. I don’t,” Graham said, adding, “You know the guy does not eat well, you know, and it’s amazing the energy that he has.”

He continued, “He’s lost weight, fifteen pounds, Maybe. So he might be in good health and in good shape. I don’t know.”

At 78-years old, Trump would be the same age as President Joe Biden when he ran for president in 2020.

Trump has reportedly lost between 15 and 20 pounds since leaving the White House in January, prompting concern from some of his critics that he may run for president in 2024.

In November 2020, the former president’s niece, Mary Trump, doubted that he would be healthy enough to run for president again.

“He has a horrible diet. He doesn’t sleep. He’s addicted to caffeine. He doesn’t exercise. He’s like well on his way to decompensating,” she said during an interview on Dean Obdeillah’s radio show on SiriusXM.”

She added, “There’s no way he will be an intact human being in four years.”

Trump has not said what his plans are for the future. However, he has teased a potential run for president in 2024.

During an interview on The Daily Wire’s “Candace,” he was asked by host Candace Owens if he planned to run again.

“I think people are going to be very, very happy… when I make a certain announcement,” Trump responded. “So we are looking at that very, very seriously. And uh, all I’ll say is stay tuned!”
