May take several weeks for U.S. to respond to Khashoggi situation, gathering evidence

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said it could be several weeks before the U.S. responds to the killing of Saudi writer Jamal Khashoggi.

According to reports, Pompeo told a Saint Louis radio station the U.S. is still in the process of gathering evidence. As a result, the U.S. is holding off on implementing sanctions against the individuals responsible — at least for now.

Sectarian tensions flare-up in Pakistan after the nation’s Supreme Court acquits a Christian woman of blasphemy charges.

China Relations: China Premier Li Keqiang is optimistic on U.S.Cutting Deals
