Fake news abounds as it’s supposedly breaking that Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts have been restored. These tweets were probably sparked by real news that Trump’s “45” bulletin posts were going to be discontinued. Once again we see that journalists and tweeters in general rush to be the smartest guy on the internet. Maybe their even psychic. Not!

But as it turns out, nothing has changed. Facebook’s spox says Trump is still indefinitely suspended on both platforms:

I honestly don’t know if the accounts were gone and they are back, or if they have been there the entire time. Either way, Trump still doesn’t have access to use either social media platform. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
