POLL: Republican Matt Rosendale in striking distance of Mont. Sen. Jon Tester

The Montana Senate race looks to be neck and neck as Republican Matt Rosendale looks to unseat long time Democrat lawmaker Jon Tester.

A Gravis Marketing poll, released Tuesday, showed Tester with just a three-point lead over Rosendale.

However, the survey also asks respondents who they would vote for if they had to make an immediate decision. 75-percent said they were uncertain with their choice, while Rosendale edged out Tester by seven-points.

Rosendale has said Tester does not keep his promises to the people of Montana, which is why he thinks it is time for someone new.

President Trump will make an appearance in the state Saturday to rally support for Rosendale and other Republicans running in the midterms.
