Rosenstein Meeting with President Trump To Discuss His Undermining Of Presidency

Press Secretary Sarah Sanders released a statement Monday, confirming Rosenstein will meet face-to-face with the president on Thursday.

This comes after inside sources told the media Rosenstein was either going to be fired or hand in his resignation in response to a meeting he had with Chief of Staff John Kelly.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will be meeting with President Trump this week to discuss allegations he wanted to secretly record him after he fired former FBI Director James Comey.

The rumors follow a damning New York Times report, which claimed Rosenstein discussed secretly recording the president and invoking the 25th Amendment.

He has long been under scrutiny by lawmakers and the White House over his handling of the Mueller probe.
