The feud between President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions heightens as the president blasts Sessions for not looking into corruption on “the other side.”
In a series of tweets Friday, President Trump called out the attorney general, suggesting that he look into deleted emails, James Comey leaks, and Mueller conflicts among other areas on concern.
“Department of Justice will not be improperly influenced by political considerations.” Jeff, this is GREAT, what everyone wants, so look into all of the corruption on the “other side” including deleted Emails, Comey lies & leaks, Mueller conflicts, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ohr……

He went on to urge the Justice Department to also look into FISA abuse, the Clinton Foundation and Russian collusion by the Democrats.
President Trump concluded by saying, “come on Jeff…the country is waiting.”
Some say the feud originated last year when the president said Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation.
“I’ll tell you what, as I’ve said, I wanted to stay uninvolved, but when everybody sees what’s going on at the Justice Department…it’s a very, very sad day,” stated President Trump. “Jeff Sessions recused himself, which he shouldn’t have done or he should have told me.”
Sessions also refuted earlier claims from the president, saying he took control of the Justice Department on the day he was sworn in.
GOP Senator Lindsay Graham weighed in on the ongoing spat, suggesting Sessions may be ousted following midterms.
“I think there will come a time, sooner rather than later, where it will be time to have a new face and a fresh voice at the Department of Justice,” said Graham. “Clearly, Attorney General Sessions doesn’t have the confidence of the president.”
However, he warned against firing Sessions prior to the November elections to prevent creating “havoc” as the GOP works to maintain a majority in both chambers.
