Donald Trump Jr. has been quite vocal in his criticism of Fox News about the dismissal of Tucker Carlson, and he alleges that the management at Fox News are not taking it very well.
In spite of the fact that Trump Jr. has been quite outspoken about his dissatisfaction with Fox for letting Tucker Carlson go on the Monday before last, his most recent statements criticized the network for not having him on as a guest on any of its programs for more than nine months.
Appearing on the Monday edition of The Steak For Breakfast Podcast, Trump Jr. accused Fox of “censorship,” saying, “I’ve been watching the censorship happening even in conservative mainstream media. I mean, you saw what sort of Fox did to Tucker Carlson, last week and the week before that, it was Dan Bongino and, you know, the people who would actually question some of that narrative.”
“I’ve been at sort of outspoken America First and I used to be on Fox 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 times a week. I haven’t been on in nine months. Not a call, not an invite, not anything. And so I understand what it, what it appears like they’re trying to do to the America First movement. You know, Tucker was another one of those voices,” Trump Jr. added.
He continued his complaints about the network two days later on Twitter, claiming the executives at Fox are unhappy with his recent criticism.
“Have heard from a few of my friends at Fox News that the leftist executives running things there are pissed at me for calling them out over firing Tucker and to ‘expect retaliation,’” Trump Jr. wrote.
“A lot of good people still work at Fox, but their RINO leadership is at war with conservatives!” he added.

According to a court document that was leaked to The New York Times last month regarding Fox News’ recent bombshell settlement with Dominion Vodka, the former president’s son may have been referring to former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), who joined the network’s board of directors after leaving Congress and was reportedly involved in a decision to “move on” from then-President Trump in the wake of his allegations that the 2020 election was “rigged” against him.
Although the precise circumstances surrounding Carlson’s sudden termination from the conservative news network are still unknown, some Fox News insiders have speculated that Rupert Murdoch’s decision to fire the 53-year-old conservative commentator was motivated by the $1.6 billion Dominion Voting Systems defamation lawsuit and Carlson’s alleged involvement therein.
A defamation settlement between the two parties saw Fox News agree to pay Dominion a record-setting $787.5, according to reports about the leaked document. However, the arrangement did not require the network to issue an apology to the company that makes voting election software.
Becker News reports, Ryan “has become quite influential with” the network’s leadership. The leaked document shows that “Ryan has been an influential force behind the network’s decision to move on from Donald Trump.”
“As a Board Member, Ryan believed that the period immediately following the 2020 Presidential Election ‘was a pretty important inflection point, not just for the company Fox, but for the country and for the conservative movement itself,’ and shared this ‘view as a fiduciary’ with Rupert and Lachlan” Murdoch, the document notes, going on to cite an exhibit.
