The Koch Brothers’ network is at it again, trying to get the Republican Party to be more moderate by buying up activist groups, spreading propaganda with a moderate-left slant, and paying people to cause division among Americans who want their rights and freedoms back.
Americans for Prosperity is the most well-known group in the Koch network. It has offices in 36 states and millions of grassroots activists who all share the firm’s supposedly conservative beliefs. But a lot of Republican activists think that the group’s money, which is said to be bigger than that of the Republican National Committee, comes from groups on the left that want to hurt real Republicans.
The leaders of these groups have been accused of causing a lot of disagreement and confusion within state GOP groups and the activist wing of the Republican party in general. In a memo to staffers on Sunday, Koch’s Americans for Prosperity Action explained everything, but they didn’t say which candidate would get their money. Still, they promised that it wouldn’t be the President who would make Americans the richest they’ve been in ten years.
Even though he didn’t mention Trump by name, the CEO of the Kochs’ main political arm took a clear shot at the former president, who often fought with Koch officials over his administration’s trade and immigration policies, according to The Daily Mail.
The Kochs have always been in favor of bringing in people from other countries to take American jobs.
The Washington Post was the first to report on this bold move in 2024 politics. It was made by billionaires who have never backed Trump or the populist, pro-America, pro-working class movement.
It is still too early to say who, besides Trump, the RINO class would support. But names like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and Trump’s old running mate Mike Pence have been thrown out there.

Emily Seidel, the head executive of Koch’s Americans for Prosperity, wrote that the group wants to “turn the page” on the past and “write a new chapter for our country” with its newly announced political support.
“The loudest voice in each political party sets the tone for the whole election,” Seidel wrote, adding, “In a presidential year, that’s the presidential candidate.”
“And if we want to start a new chapter for our country,” she said, “we have to close the book on the past.” So, the best thing for the country in 2025 would be for a new president to take office.
Seidel went on to say that “broken politics” and a “toxic situation” played a big role in the grassroots group’s decision to support a non-Trump candidate who hasn’t been named yet.
Seidel wrote, “The Republican Party is putting forward bad candidates who stand for things that go against basic American values, and the American people are rejecting them.”
She said that as Democrats keep pushing “more and more extreme policies,” AFP Action is ready to back a candidate in the Republican presidential primary who can move the country forward. Who can win.’

Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, is also connected to Koch’s complex donor network and has been to the family’s donor gatherings in the past.
She, like DeSantis, is likely to say later this month that she wants to run for the GOP nomination.
