President Donald J. Trump slammed administrative state proponent Bill Barr, former US Attorney General, on Friday following Barr’s nutty remarks about the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago last month.

Barr, who was Former President Donald Trump’s attorney general until the final months of his administration, appeared Friday to defend the Department of Justice’s decision to raid Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and seize thousands of records.

“I think the driver on this from the beginning was loads of classified information sitting in Mar-A-Lago,” Barr said in a Fox News interview.

“Barr made comments about the highly political raid after U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon on Friday released a detailed inventory from the raid, which showed that classified documents were discovered in boxes that also contained personal items like clothing and magazine articles,” Newsmax reported.

Cannon is the same jurist considering a motion by Trump’s legal team, for a special master independent third-party figure to look over documents seized by agents at the time of the raid of his family home in Florida.

CNN noted further that federal agents also retrieved more than 11,000 non-classified government documents.

In an interview with The New York Times, Barr waved off Trump’s call for a special master, saying to his mind the inventory list released by the judge supported the Justice Department’s claim that the FBI should be used to retrieve the documents in order to protect national security.

“As more information comes out, the actions of the department look more understandable,” Barr claimed. “It seems to me they were driven by concern about highly sensitive information being strewn all over a country club, and it was taking them almost two years to get it back.

“It appears that there’s been a lot of jerking around of the government,” he told the Times. “I’m not sure the department could have gotten it back without taking action.”

When asked about the alleged need for a special master, Barr laughed, the Times reported.

“I think it’s a crock of shit. I don’t think a special master is called for,” Barr noted further.

Trump took to his Truth Social page to blast his former AG.

“Bill Barr had ‘no guts,’ and got ‘no glory,’” he wrote in a post late Friday. “He was a weak and pathetic RINO, who was so afraid of being impeached that he became a captive to the radical left Democrats — ‘Please, please, please don’t impeach me,’ he supposedly said.”

“He started off OK as A.G., but faded fast — Didn’t have courage or stamina. People like that will never Make America Great Again!”

In a separate Friday post, the 45th president also accused Barr of acting “very slowly” regarding special counsel Robert Mueller’s ‘Russiagate’ probe after Barr ripped Mueller for making a number of “errors” during the probe.

“I don’t think he was on top of his game,” Barr said of Mueller. “I think he made some very serious errors.

“He goes out and hires partisan Democrats to make up his investigative team, which means half the country is going to be suspicious from the very beginning. That defeated the whole purpose of naming him. I think it was pretty evident within a few months of his taking the position that there had been no collusion,” Barr added.

“But instead of stopping it at that point and letting the country move on, he took two instances that clearly were not obstruction and which even his final report doesn’t try to argue were obstruction,” he said, adding that he had asked Mueller to “sanitize” the report — redact any grand jury information — so that Barr could quickly release it to the public, which Mueller did not do.

Because Mueller did not redact that information, Barr said it took an additional three weeks to do so, which generated a lot of suspicions and negative news coverage about the administration.

Trump replied: “Former A.G. Bill Barr was fired long before I left the White House on January 20th. He acted very slowly on the ‘No Collusion’ Mueller Report in that the FBI and ‘Justice’ had the ‘laptop from hell’ in their possession, which totally exonerated me long before Mueller’s decision came out, years later — a waste of time & money. The laptop information should have been released before the rigged election, not after it, for the voters to see. He was petrified of the lunatic Dems & of being impeached!”
