An FBI investigation into whether Trump took classified records from the White House to his Florida mansion Mar-A-Lago led to the search of the estate last night.
In a lengthy statement, the former president said the Feds had broken into a safe at his home to search for documents that the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) want.
A total of 15 boxes of classified information were seized by the agents, but the agents did not elaborate on what they contained.
It was the National Archives’ opinion that Trump should have turned over the material upon leaving office, and it had requested an investigation by the Justice Department.
Classified records and sensitive government documents are governed by multiple federal laws, including statutes that make removing and retaining such records a crime.
While Republicans are rightfully enraged as this has never happened to a former president before, Democrats are gleeful, and Hillary Clinton is cashing in on the situation.
“Hillary used the opportunity to cash in on sales of the hats which bear the slogan ‘But Her Emails,” according to the Daily Mail.
By mid-morning, the $32-a-pop accessories were sold out online.
It’s a taunting reference to Trump’s repeated mention of the fact that she was investigated for getting rid of thousands of emails from a secure server during her time as Secretary of State, before she ran for office.
Hillary posted on Instagram: ‘Every “But her emails” hat or shirt sold helps Onward Together partners defend democracy, build a progressive bench, and fight for our values.
‘Just saying! Link to get yours in my profile.’
She put a photo on her Instagram story, also, including a link, telling users to ‘get your hat.’
Onward Together is a PAC that Clinton founded in 2017 after she lost to Trump.
According to the Mail “It donates to left-wing groups such as Swing Left, Run for Something, Texas Civil Rights Project and Color of Change.”
There are several items for sale that use the slogan, including the hats.
As well as t-shirts and stickers, Clinton is selling mugs and stickers bearing the phrase.
In the case of Clinton’s deletion of 33,000 private emails, she was investigated but eventually cleared.
When the FBI questioned her about the emails, she said that she thought they were all private.
It was revealed as part of an investigation into emails written by her aide, Huma Abedin, after DailyMail.com revealed Abedin’s husband, Anthony Weiner, had been in contact with an underage girl and exchanging sexually explicit messages with her, the Mail added.
Clinton previously ruled out running against Trump again. In June, she said it would be ‘out of the question’.
Her mocking the raid is likely to enrage Trump, who yesterday asked why he was constantly persecuted by the left while Hillary and other Democrats are not.
Trump responded on Truth Social as the FBI was searching Mar-A-Lago:

Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries. Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before. They even broke into my safe! What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States.
The political persecution of President Donald J. Trump has been going on for years, with the now fully debunked Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and so much more, it just never ends. It is political targeting at the highest level!
Hillary Clinton was allowed to delete and acid wash 33,000 E-mails AFTER they were subpoenaed by Congress. Absolutely nothing has happened to hold her accountable. She even took antique furniture, and other items from the White House.
I stood up to America’s bureaucratic corruption, I restored power to the people, and truly delivered for our Country, like we have never seen before. The establishment hated it.
Now, as they watch my endorsed candidates win big victories, and see my dominance in all polls, they are trying to stop me, and the Republican Party, once more. The lawlessness, political persecution, and Witch Hunt must be exposed and stopped.
