There is a new bombastic Republican political ad that the left is loving because it smashes President Donald J. Trump.

US Rep. RINO Liz Cheney (R-WY) has earned her nickname of ‘Daddies Girl” this week as her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, made a video on behalf of his daughter, who is potentially about to lose her position in Washington DC after a year of humiliating smackdowns for her attacks on President Donald J. Trump.

“With her competitive primary contest less than two weeks away, Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., is out with a striking new ad on Thursday featuring a direct-to-camera testimonial from her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, defending his daughter and warning against former President Donald Trump, who has backed Cheney’s top challenger,” NBC reported.

Liz Cheney has repeatedly said that she believes her Jan. 6 work is worth losing her House seat, but her Daddy is furious sounding, bitter, and hostile in the shocking ad.

81-year-old Cheney is an American politician and businessman who served as the 46th vice president of the United States from 2001 to 2009 under President George W. Bush. He is currently the oldest living former U.S. vice president, following the death of Walter Mondale in 2021.

“Trump is a coward. A real man wouldn’t lie to his supporters,”: Dick Cheney said, slamming Trump in a campaign ad for daughter Liz where he calls Trump “the biggest threat to the Republic in our nation’s history.”

‘In our nation’s 246-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our Republic than Donald Trump,’ Cheney said in a new clip- also slamming the rest of America who supported Trump.

“Dick Cheney eviscerated Donald Trump as the greatest threat to the United States in history in a new campaign ad for his daughter, Rep. Liz Cheney, who is facing a defeat in the Republican primary in Wyoming next week,” The Daily Mail reported.

‘In our nation’s 246-year history there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our Republic than Donald Trump,’ veteran Republican Cheney said in a new clip released on Thursday.

The congresswoman brought out her 81-year-old former vice president father as a last-ditch effort to defy recent polling that puts her squarely behind primary rival Harriet Hageman ahead of an August 16 primary.

Hageman led Cheney by more than 20 points in a late July poll by the Casper-Star Tribune and Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy.

The challenger held a 52-percent majority in the survey, while just 30 percent of people backed Cheney. Eleven percent said they were undecided.

Hageman is former President Trump’s choice to unseat Cheney for her loud opposition to his election fraud claims and key role in the January 6 subcommittee.

‘He tried to steal the last election with lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him,’ Cheney said of Trump. ‘He is a coward. A real man wouldn’t lie to his supporters.

‘He lost his election and he lost big. I know it, he knows it, and deep down I think most Republicans know it.

CNN was enthusiastic to pick the story up and promote the ad:

“Former Vice President Dick Cheney calls Donald Trump a “coward” in a new TV ad supporting his daughter, Liz Cheney, in her reelection campaign,” the outlet reported.

Cheney said he and his wife were “proud” of his “fearless” daughter for “honoring her oath to the Constitution when so many in our party are scared to do so.”

“There is nothing more important she will ever do than lead the effort to make sure Donald Trump is never again or the Oval Office. And she will succeed,” he said.

NBC reported:

Liz Cheney faces a competitive primary battle for Wyoming’s only congressional district on Aug. 16 against challenger Harriet Hageman, a lawyer who ran for Wyoming governor in 2018 and espouses the widely disproven conspiracy that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Trump. Asked at a candidate forum on Wednesday to clarify her stance, Hageman said, “The election was rigged.”

“Like many Wyomingites, I supported Liz Cheney when she ran for Congress,” Hageman said when announcing her bid last September, the same day Trump endorsed her. “But then she betrayed Wyoming, she betrayed this country, and she betrayed me.”

Responding to the news of Trump’s endorsement in a tweet, Cheney said, “Here’s a sound bite for you: Bring it.”

A vocal critic of Trump resisting a peaceful transfer of power, Cheney first drew Trump’s ire when she became one of 10 Republicans to vote to impeach him for “incitement of insurrection” after the Jan. 6 attack.

In the following months, she was removed by the House GOP as GOP conference chair, and her subsequent rank as the No. 3 Republican in the House was stripped, as well as the Wyoming GOP censuring her and no longer recognizing her as a member — backlash encouraged by Trump.
