Republican President Donald J. Trump was right about the threat the United States of America faces from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), according to a recent FBI investigation, which has uncovered that the law enforcement agency is finally accepting the scandalous details about the cruel equipment made by the CCP electronics firm Huawei.
There were many actions against Huawei Technologies under Trump – in what Reuters described in 2020 as “a long-running effort to weaken the world’s largest telecommunications equipment maker, which Washington sees as a national security threat.”
But his opponents did not welcome the Trump administration’s focus on restricting Huawei, and battles to give the CCP company more access- not less- consumed a lot of energy and time in the Washington DC circles.
“FBI investigations confirm what we knew in Trump Admin: the CCP uses Huawei equipment to conduct espionage, even disrupt essential national security operations.
They’re inside the gates. Huawei = Chinese spies. Ban Huawei and take this threat seriously.
This week we find out there is an updated reason to worry about what the CCP is planning on American soil,” Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of State for the Trump administration, reported on Twitter on Sunday.

Multiple sources told CNN that the FBI found that equipment from the Chinese telecommunications company Huawei placed on cell towers in the Midwest is capable of disrupting Department of Defense communications, including those from the force that oversees U.S. nuclear weapons.
And we can see how they planned to get more placements in the USA from a 2017 CNN report about the CCP’s proposed $100 million for constructing an “ornate Chinese garden” at Washington, D.C.’s National Arboretum.
The proposed project included temples, pavilions, and a 70-foot white pagoda. So naturally, local officials were thrilled, as they imagined thousands of tourists would flock to the exhibit annually.
“But when US counterintelligence officials began digging into the details, they found numerous red flags. The pagoda, they noted, would have been strategically placed on one of the highest points in Washington DC, just two miles from the US Capitol, a perfect spot for signals intelligence collection, multiple sources familiar with the episode told CNN,” CNN reported at the time.
“Also alarming was that Chinese officials wanted to build the pagoda with materials shipped to the US in diplomatic pouches, which US Customs officials are barred from examining, the sources said,” the report added.
Federal authorities, at the time, restricted the project, but it is important to note the amount of support the project got from American groups- with the promise of CCP money- in what was a covert and dangerous escalation of Chinese espionage operations on U.S. soil.
Trump and his administration had been against the powerful CCP’s instruction of American national security because they are the sworn enemies of the USA. Others see the CCP as a means to make some money for themselves and have pushed back against Trump for years.
Trump’s opponents disagree with him on national security matters, and this new report shows he was right and we are in danger.
The new details from the FBI show how right Trump was to be worried, and we should be taking note today of the increase in China’s ownership of American land.
From the new CNN exclusive report:
“Since at least 2017, federal officials have investigated Chinese land purchases near critical infrastructure, shut down a high-profile regional consulate believed by the US government to be a hotbed of Chinese spies, and stonewalled what they saw as clear efforts to plant listening devices near sensitive military and government facilities.
Among the most disturbing things, the FBI uncovered pertains to Chinese-made Huawei equipment atop cell towers near US military bases in the rural Midwest. According to multiple sources familiar with the matter, the FBI determined the equipment was capable of capturing and disrupting highly restricted Defense Department communications, including those used by US Strategic Command, which oversees the country’s nuclear weapons.”
“There have been broad concerns regarding the use of electronics equipment made by Chinese firm Huawei that has been installed near U.S. military installations, many of them highly sensitive, the origins of which go back at least to the Obama administration,” The Conservative Brief reported.
According to media reports, Huawei insisted that their equipment was not to spy on U.S. operations in a statement to CNN outlet reported. The Biden administration has not enforced the removal of Huawei equipment because they have not made the removal a priority.
“The U.S. is still struggling to complete the break up with Chinese telecom companies that Donald Trump started four years ago.
The problem: Small communications networks, mainly in rural areas, are saddled with old Chinese equipment they can’t afford to remove and can’t repair if it breaks. The companies say they want to ditch the Chinese tech, but promised funds from Congress aren’t coming quickly enough and aren’t sufficient to cover the cost,” Politico reported.
And now those small communities are knowingly in danger.
“This gets into some of the most sensitive things we do,” one former FBI official with knowledge of the investigation told CNN. “It would impact our ability for essentially command and control with the nuclear triad. That goes into the ‘BFD’ category.
“If it is possible for that to be disrupted, then that is a very bad day,” the former FBI official added.
