Bannon derides Rogan, audience of ‘low-information voters’ over Trump comments

Steve Bannon isn’t afraid of a good fight or speaking his mind. Earlier this year he lashed out at Bill Barr, Karl Rove, and the Bush political machine. It came after the FBI Cyber Chief lied to Congress that he was unaware of the location of Hunter Biden’s laptop. In addition, Bill Barr lied in his book, claiming he investigated the laptop and found nothing.

Trump’s former chief strategist issued a clear warning to the crooked and jaded Bush operatives who are struggling to undermine the populist movement in the GOP.

Steve Bannon stated on his show:

We don’t care about your opinions. We could care less. You’re a stone-cold liar and we got you on two massive lies. There’s no investigation (on Hunter’s laptop), you did no investigation.

There’s no report and you’re a stone-cold liar… Bill Barr is nothing more than a Bush operative. This all goes back to the head of the corrupt snake that used to control the Republican Party.

That’s why we’re there to decapitate. We’re there to decapitate. It’s a metaphor. We’re there to decapitate. These, it’s a rotting carcass of all the bad stuff that Bush had. They still want control. They’re not going to give it up.

And, hey, I understand. You don’t give it up till you have to give it up. We’re going to force you to give it up. Because of what you’re doing now, the country is hurtling towards a dark valley. And you’re part of the problem. You’re a big part of the problem. And, in November when we take over and when Trump wins in a landslide, you guys are going to have nothing to do with this.

Now the outspoken economic nationalist is going after a big media name.

As the Washington Times reported, “Bannon came out swinging against Joe Rogan for his comments about never wanting to have former President Donald Trump on his top-rated podcast.”

Mr. Bannon, a former White House chief strategist in the Trump administration, said the former president doesn’t need Mr. Rogan’s platform or the “low-information voters” who make up the audience for “The Joe Rogan Experience,” according to the Daily Beast.

“Trump deals with high-information people. Your audience couldn’t handle ‘War Room’ — couldn’t follow it,” Mr. Bannon said, referencing his own podcast.

According to the Daily Beast, Bannon also accused Rogan of “taking the hundred million dollars of blood money” from streaming service Spotify.

“The comment alluded to Spotify hosting the music and videos from the shooter in Highland Park, Illinois, who reportedly confessed to carrying out the attack that left seven people dead and dozens injured,” the Times explained.

Mr. Rogan said during a show this week that he had turned down multiple chances for Mr. Trump to appear on his show.

“I am not a Trump supporter, in any way, shape or form,” Mr. Rogan told guest Lex Fridman, a computer scientist and podcast host himself. “I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.”

The podcaster, who gained fame as the host of “Fear Factor” and is also a UFC commentator, said he feels Mr. Trump is an “existential threat to democracy.”

Mr. Rogan said he feared that welcoming Mr. Trump on his show might rehabilitate the former president’s image.

Back in April Bannon went after Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

Last year, Liz Cheney secretly taped McCarthy saying he was going to get President Trump to resign and that he would be impeached over the January 6th incident.

In excerpts from a book quoted in a New York Times report, McCarthy told Republican leaders, ‘I’ve had it with this guy.’

Bannon said that McCarthy must embrace MAGA in its entirety or he will suffer the consequences of supporting the RINOs…

As a result of this political climate, there is no “middle ground.”

It’s impossible to stand on the RINO side of the line while simultaneously standing on the MAGA side.

For McCarthy to keep his job, he will need to be the biggest MAGA advocate.

His actions, endorsements, and decisions must always be based on “America First”… and if he cannot do that, we don’t need him.

Unless Kevin starts acting like it, he will not be able to get through this.

As Liza Carlisle reported for Republic Brief at the time, “Representative Matt Gaetz, a Republican from Florida, has been critical of McCarthy since the audio was released.”

‘While I was rallying in Wyoming against Liz Cheney … Kevin McCarthy was defending Liz Cheney among House Republicans…While Liz Cheney was secretly recording Kevin McCarthy for the New York Times,’ Gaetz tweeted on Friday.

‘@GOPLeader—you should have trusted my instincts, not your own,’ he said.

Gaetz offered further criticism of McCarthy’s leadership during an appearance on Newsmax on Friday.

“‘You have a circumstance where you either have to believe Kevin’s statements or your own lying ears,’ the congressman said. ‘There are a few problems.’
