Liz Cheney Down a Whopping 28-Points To Trump-Backed Candidate

Liz Cheney (RINO-WY) Is Never Coming Back From This…She should have never gone after President Donald J. Trump how she has and then been so reckless with her abuse of power on the J6 Committee- while showing off and mouthing off to the American people- flaunting her elitism.

She hasn’t been in DC all that long, and polls ahead of her primary show that she isn’t staying much longer either.

‘Face it, Liz, Wyoming is just not that into you,’ is sort of what Trump was saying on Wednesday, according to news sources who reported, “Trump claimed that Rep. Liz Cheney, who voted to impeach him over the January 6 Capitol riot, will soon lose her reelection bid — just how Rep. Tom Rice, another pro-impeachment lawmaker, was defeated in South Carolina’s primary on Tuesday night.”

“Same thing’s going to happen in Wyoming to Virginia ‘resident’ Liz Cheney, that happened in South Carolina to Congressman ‘Impeach Master’ Tom Rice, who lost as an incumbent by 28 points!” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.

Cheney and Rice were among the 10 House Republicans who broke with the GOP and voted to impeach Trump a second time on a “incitement of insurrection” charge in 2021 after they created and then pinned a Capitol insurrection on him and his supporters.

Only six of those Republicans are running for reelection in this year’s midterms. So rice is seen as a litmus test of sorts for the group, and he was the first in the group of them to lose his primary in a blistering way.

As people headed out to the polls to vote this week, Rice was a Never Trumper RINO to the very end, making statements to the media that “Trump was not the future of the party,” and then he got kicked out of office.

And now, after her constant abuse of Trump and his supporters, it is Cheney’s ‘time in the barrel’ and it is not looking good for her to go up against Harriet Hageman, who is crushing the polls and making a lasting impression on the people of Wyoming.

Hageman already has a long family line in Wyoming and an impressive body of work, being a champion of Populist-leaning professional for the state. And as Trump noted- Cheney is a Virginian opportunist and didn’t connect well with the people there.

Cheney is very likely done representing any people from Wyoming or anywhere else.  Hageman appears to have this Primary sewn up.

“I am a deep-rooted Wyomingite. Raised on a ranch near Fort Laramie, I grew up understanding the value of hard work, integrity, self-sufficiency, and honesty. Here in Wyoming, we have a long and proud history of standing up against an overbearing government. And now, we are fighting back against big government bureaucrats who want to manage our lands, control our lives, and dictate what we are allowed to think and say,” Hageman said, according to her campaign website.

“As an attorney, I battled Bill Clinton’s attempt to block access to one-third of our National Forest Lands, stopped the EPA’s efforts to take control of our irrigation infrastructure and operations, blocked the USDA from forcing our livestock producers to use radio-frequency eartags and register all of our ranches with the federal government, and more. Now I am ready to fight for Wyomingites in Congress.,” Hageman said.

Cheney is currently trailing Trump-backed Harriet Hageman in a new poll by double digits less than two months before the Wyoming GOP primary.

“Ahead of the August primary, polling on the race remains limited, but one survey released last week found Cheney trailing her top opponent Hageman by 28 points,” Newsweek reported.

“Hageman led with 56 percent of voters saying they plan to support her—while only 28 percent of respondents said they planned to back Cheney in the August primary, the poll conducted by the Hageman-aligned Wyoming Values super PAC found. It’s largely in line with other polls, which have indicated Cheney is facing a challenging reelection bid,” the report added.

“Just 28 percent of Wyoming Republican voters say they would cast a ballot to reelect Cheney in the 2022 midterms, according to a new poll from Fabrizio, Lee & Associates survey and consulting firm,” the Daily Mail reported Friday.

Adding to Cheney’s troubles, even fewer Wyoming Republicans had a favorable view of her — only 26 percent, with 73 percent viewing her unfavorably.

That post on the panel created by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, as well as her vote to impeach Trump, cost Cheney favor with her constituents, a censure from the Wyoming GOP and Republican National Committee (RNC), as well as her No. 3 post in the party as House Republican Conference Chairwoman.

Hageman easily won a straw poll which was conducted by the Wyoming Republican State Central Committee in January, garnering 59 votes, according to the Casper Star-Tribune.

​​“I think it’s a good sign. It’s not an endorsement, but these are the county activists,” Hageman said in an interview with the ​newspaper.​

“Unlike RINO Liz Cheney, Harriet is all in for America First. Harriet has my Complete and Total Endorsement in replacing the Democrats’ number one provider of sound bites, Liz Cheney. Make America Great Again!” the former president concluded.
