Last month, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich rejected claims of election fraud after the 2020 election during an interview on Fox Business.
According to him, Trump’s loss was the result of voters that split their ballots, voting for Democrats in the presidential and Senate election races at the top, and voting for GOP candidates lower on the ballot.
Brnovich is running for U.S. Senate.
Blake Masters, another Republican Senate candidate in Arizona, challenged Brnovich to debate the handling of his office’s investigation into the 2020 elections, in which Trump lost Arizona by 10,457 votes to Joe Biden.
Many of Trump’s supporters believe Brnovich’s actions will lead to a reversal of Trump’s loss, and Masters’ remarks fuel their belief that the election was stolen.
The debate was attended by President Trump.
Brnovich declined to participate in the debate, nor did he respond to Masters’ invitation.
In order to virtually attend the ceremony, Trump stepped away from a wedding he was hosting. He made his feelings about Brnovich clear in a speech to the audience after it became clear that Brnovich didn’t show up out of fear.

Trump said he broke away from a 500-person wedding at his Florida resort to call into Masters’ campaign event, held outdoors at a Chandler business near Arizona Avenue and Highland Street and attended by more than 100 people.
“I just want to thank you all, you’re an incredible group. I heard Blake was the person that showed up and I want to thank Blake,“ Trump said through a cellphone to a cheering crowd.
As far as determining the balance of the Senate for the next two years goes, the Arizona Senate race may prove to be one of the most important races nationwide.
Trump announced on Thursday that he would be endorsing the 35-year-old businessman.
“Blake Masters is one of the most successful businessmen and investors in the Country, having led a multibillion-dollar firm that invests in new technology and many other emerging companies,” Trump said in an email message to supporters.
“In addition, he runs a nonprofit foundation that promotes science and innovation. In other words, he is a great modern-day thinker!”
Trump mentioned that Masters earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from Stanford University and that he wrote the New York Times bestseller “Zero to One” in collaboration with venture capitalist Peter Thiel.
He noted that Masters would be perfectly happy to devote himself to his business and family, making his decision to run for Senate even more impressive.
“Blake is Strong on Border Security, in particular, the disastrous Southern Border where people are pouring into the U.S. by the millions, and destroying our Country,” Trump stated.
“Just two years ago, with the help of the Wall, we had the Strongest Border in the history of our Country, and now we have the weakest—Blake will turn that around quickly.”
Boosting law enforcement, cutting taxes, and supporting the military were also among the priorities of Masters that Trump supports.
Based on a Trafalgar poll of likely Republican voters, Jim Lamon would receive 24.8 percent support, Mark Brnovich would receive 23.9 percent support, and Masters would receive 19.4 percent support.
Undecided voters accounted for 20.6 percent of the vote. It’s likely Master will attempt to use Trump’s endorsement to win the support of those voters. A total of 1,064 respondents participated in the poll, the margin of error was 2.99 percent, and there was a 95 percent confidence level.
Trump specifically referred to Brnovich in his message of endorsement for Masters.
“Mark Brnovich is such a disappointment to me,” Trump noted. “He is the current Arizona Attorney General, and while he understands what took place in the 2020 Presidential Election, and that it was Rigged and Stolen, he only views it as something he would like not to see happen again.
“The Arizona State Senate gave him overwhelming evidence of fraud and irregularities, issued a report which was damning, and he did nothing about it. In other words, all talk and no action!”
Masters has criticized Republican lawmakers for not taking action against Democrats vigorously enough.
“I think this election, 2022, it’s an existential election,” Masters said in an interview in May 2022. “If we lose, certainly if we let the Democrats retain power, I think it’s game over.
“If we ‘win’ but get the wrong Republicans in office, that’s just a recipe for losing a little bit more slowly.”
Masters said he aimed to run a campaign that was “as bold as possible,” expressing no hesitation about holding other Republicans answerable for their actions, or more precisely, their inactions.
“I’m willing to certainly blame to progressive left for so much of the dysfunction that we see, because I think they drive it,” Masters stated. “I think they’re pushing us into a really dark place.
“But I’m equally comfortable blasting more establishment Republicans … who only want to play defense, because it’s that weak-willed Republicanism, right, that almost fake conservatism, that has led us to this place.”
Trump expressed confidence that Masters would get things done in the Senate, assuring his supporters that Masters received his “Complete and Total Endorsement.”
