‘Get That Guy Out’: Trump Is Ready To Get His Revenge on Romney

Republicans In Name Only (RINOs) have no better representation than failed Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. More Democrats support him than Republicans, and that has led to some really bad PR for Romney, who continues to betray Conservatives at every turn, including opposing President Donald J. Trump.

And there is hope Romney, who has a long history of corrupt business dealings as a ruthless Venture Capitalist, may get displaced very soon.

Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes, a staunch Trump supporter, is getting ready to challenge Sen. Mitt Romney in the 2024 Utah GOP primary.

“Sean is very seriously considering running, regardless if Mitt runs or not,” Politico reported. “He’s confident that regardless of what Sen. Romney wants to do, he’s going to pursue this.”

Romney’s open hostility toward Trump and his America First agenda, is making political waves in local Utah politics:

“I guarantee Trump will come up with somebody,” said Carson Jorgensen, chair of the Utah Republican Party. “There’s enough vitriol there that no matter if Trump is running for president, he will run a candidate against Romney.”

An anonymous source told Politico that Trump encouraged Reyes to run against Romney when the pair held previous meetings together.

“When he meets with Trump, the only thing that comes up is ‘Will you run against Romney? I need you to run against Romney. Get that guy out,’” the person recalled.

“There isn’t a Republican candidate in the country who isn’t seeking the support of President Trump,” said Trump spokesperson Taylor Budowich. “Mitt Romney will be replaced in 2024 by a champion for America First, that goes without question — he abandoned Utah and caved to the Radical Left.”

Romney was the Republican Party’s 2012 presidential nominee, and he was the sole exception to the Senate’s party-line vote to acquit President Trump — and the first senator who has ever voted to remove a president of his own party.

Romney says he broke party lines to vote to convict on one of two charges, abuse of power because he believes Trump’s conduct shows that the president is unfit and that he “should be removed from office.”

“I believe that the act [Trump] took — an effort to corrupt an election,” Romney told Fox News’s Chris Wallace, “is as destructive an attack on the oath of office and on our Constitution as I can imagine.”

Romney’s vote makes him a unique figure in American history.

‘Unique’ is a nice word for an officeholder who betrays his base. Romney’s support comes from Democrats.

Gallup poll from 2020 revealed 56 percent of Democrats approve of Romney while just 23 percent of Republicans have a favorable view of him.

This could put him at risk if Reyes does run, especially given he would have President Donald Trump’s full support.

Romney, the architect of socialized medicine when he was serving as Governor of Massachusetts, really is out of step with Conservatives and more in line with the values, ethics and morals of the left.
