Within the past month or so, the statues of George Washington, Christopher Columbus, and (if you can believe it) Abraham Lincoln have been destroyed. Black Lives Matter activists have even destroyed monuments dedicated to abolitionists and Africa-American soldiers. It is these statues and monuments Trump said he wanted to restore and preserve.
